ACTIVATE E-WALLET ACCOUNT

  • Login to your student/staff portal account via http://lu.edu.ng

  • Click on the link “Activate account” under eWallet and Bandwidth management by the left navigation panel.

  • Generate a pin (self-generated) and confirm.

  • Provide a secret answer to your preferred secret question.

  • Click on Activate account.

  • However, if you get an Error 434 Account has been activated. Follow the instructions below:
  • Under eWallet and Bandwidth management, click on Reset lost pin.

  • Provide your pin and secret answer.

  • Click on Reset and go back to activate the account.

USING NETSURF:

Netsurf is an optional desktop  application designed for staffs and students to aid in both generation of hotspot ticket and printing voucher online and as well login into internet. It can be downloaded here http://csis.lmu.edu.ng/downloads/viewdownload/1-utilities/1-netsurf-installer

Netsurf can be used ONLY on windows operating system. The installation procedures are simple to follow.

If Java plugin is not installed on your computer, you will be prompted to install this during installation process.

Double click on NetSurf.exe shortcut created on your computer desktop and start menu to launch software. If you encounter any issue during installation, send a support ticket at http://ticket.lmu.edu.ng/ or visit CSIS in the computer laboratory.

NOW THAT YOU ARE READY TO USE NETSURF

CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET

Make sure your computer is connected to the Landmark University network either by ethernet cable connection or wireless connection. Type your username and password into the fields provided, then click LOGIN button for access to the internet.

If you are using a personal computer, you can create a login profile with your username and password. This removes the process of retyping your username and password every time you want to use the internet.

To Create a Profile, Click PROFILE button.

Click Create Newbutton to create a new profile. Click Modifybutton to modify an existing profile & Click Removebutton to delete any selected profile from the profile list.

Type in your account username, password and retype password in confirm password field provided. Type a name to identify this profile in Profile Name field. Then click Save Profilebutton. After saving your profile, select your saved profile name from the list provided above username and password fields. Click “CONNECT” to automatically login to the internet using the selected profile.

Use the “LOGIN” button if you are using a public computer or a friend’s computer. Use “PROFILE” button if you are using your personal computer. “PROFILE” button will help you save your profile information.

DISCONNECTING FROM THE INTERNET

You can use “DISCONNECT” button (After a successful connection to the internet, “LOGIN” button changes to “LOGOUT” and “CONNECT” button changes to “DISCONNECT”)

* BALANCE PANEL: On this panel, you can check the balance of your internet and printing account via your username (applicable for staffs and students).

* EazeeWallet PANEL: On this panel, you have the option to purchase REGULAR TICKET, REFILL INTERNET ACCOUNT and REFILL PRINTING ACCOUNT.

* REGULAR TICKET: REGULAR tickets will generate a ticket username and password. Choose a ticket/paper plan, provide your EazeeWallet account number. E.g. LU10742 or 1301999 (as applicable), the self-generated pin used to activate the account on your portal. Click BUY NOW!

* REFILL INTERNET ACCOUNT: REFILL internet account will credit your username directly. Choose a ticket/paper plan, the username you want to refill E.g. ojo.olubukola or LU10989, provide your EazeeWallet account number. E.g. LU10742 or 1301999 (as applicable), self-generated pin used to activate the account on your portal. Click BUY NOW!

* REFILL PRINTING ACCOUNT: Choose a paper cut plan, the account number you want to refill E.g. ojo.olubukola or LU10989, provide your EazeeWallet account number. E.g. LU10742 or 1301999 (as applicable), self-generated pin used to activate the account on your portal. Click BUY NOW!

* CHANGE PASSWORD PANEL: To change password, you are to provide your username E.g. LU10742 or ojo.olubukola (as applicable), provide the current password, generate a new password and confirm.

PIN: Eazee Wallet Pin. (Use the PIN PAD on the right side of the page to key in your PIN). Click on “Buy Now” to complete the transaction
