All students who register with the university are given an account as they arrive at the campus at the IT Help Desk.

Your Login Name and password gives access to most University IT services. Access to student portal will also require the same login details for all students. If you have any registration queries please contact the IT Service Desk.

Conditions of Use

All users of the University’s IT facilities are bound by the Conditions of Use: staff members sign the User Agreement, and students agree to this when they register with the University.

Changing Passwords

IT account (login, email and filestore) are created automatically when they enroll with the University. If you are having problems accessing the University IT systems or require help with your login name and password, contact the IT Service Desk.

Short term visitors

Obtaining a visitor's wireless account is possible only with designated IT Officer at the university computer lab, please note that the ticket purchased is useful for up to one month.

Portal Password Problems

Failed login attempts up to three times will result into your account being disabled. If the login page reflects that your account is disabled when logging onto your portal or hot-spot, please visit the IT help desk office And If you're having problems or you've forgotten your password, contact the IT Service Desk on 1046 or visit the staff IT Service centre.
