On Tuesday, 18th August 2020, The Centre for Systems and Information Services continued their webinar series entitled, “Staying Safe in the E-Era”.  In his presentation, Mr. Emmanuel Igbekele mentioned that modern day war is fought on the Internet. He, therefore, pointed out the knowledge an individual must be equipped with before tackling the cyber war. These included; Knowledge of the Battle field, Knowledge of the Enemy, Knowledge of the Enemy Tactics and Knowledge of your Defense strategy.

Mr. Igbekele identified the enemy’s weapon as phishing attacks, cloud hijacking, mobile malware, tailgating, hotspot/WiFi vulnerabilities, and ransomware. He also narrated the defense strategies to be adopted in the war against cyber crime.
